On Wednesday morning, November 14, 2007, the FBI and Homeland Security Secret Service raided the national Liberty Dollar fulfillment office in Evansville, Indiana and confiscated EVERYTHING!
The federal government took this brazen action based on an assertion that it is illegal for U.S. citizens to use privately minted silver and gold medallions in voluntary barter exchange. We strongly disagree and we believe the Liberty Dollar will be vindicated in the courts.
However, until that time, Liberty Dollar of Lassen has suspended all Liberty Dollar activity.
This attack on the Liberty Dollar and our economic freedom is a travesty
of Justice, and we urge everyone who has suffered financial losses as a result of the government's wanton confiscation of
private property to immediately join the Liberty Dollar
Class Action Lawsuit.
